Happy Friday 1/18/19

Happy Friday! How has your 2019 been so far? We’ve had a nice, slow start to the year and I like that. But after all that down time, it felt nice to get working again this week. Garrett and I spent three days in Seattle dealing with a faulty stove and checking off a few projects from our 3-year-old kitchen to-do list at the Dexter House. Yup, we had a 3-year-old to-do list 😬. We’ll be sharing more about those projects later in the month, but in the meantime we’re back at the Farmhouse with the kids enjoying the heck out of this 3-day weekend!

Since it’s Friday, I’ve rounded up lots of great content from the internet. Grab a cup of coffee and dig in.

Remember my friend Ashley who came and visited us at the Farmhouse last month? Well her lovely old home was just featured on Emily Henderson’s blog (kinda a big-huge-giant deal!) and you should check it out here!

In case you hadn’t heard, Design Sponge is shutting down at the end of the year. And while this isn’t the same, it feels related: scaling back, slowing down, letting people go. There’s a shift towards ‘less is more’ in the blog world and it’s a lesson I’m latching on to.

In case you missed it, we shared our renovation plan for the first level of our Farmhouse on Monday and I’m loving all the feedback we’ve gotten! There will definitely be a “round 2” after we absorb all your comments.

This soup is my list this winter.

I loved everything about this relaxed French home!

Have a great weekend!
