Happy Friday 3/18/22
Happy Friday! How are you? Any exciting weekend plans? We’re in Hawaii for an early spring break (might have accidentally scheduled our trip for the week before spring break 🤦♀️) and soaking up every last bit of sunshine before returning to the Pacific Northwest! Can I just say the island of Kauai is magical! The beaches…the food…the wild scenery…the sea life (we swam with sea turtles!) - it might just be my favorite place I’ve ever visited!
My phone has mostly stayed in the beach tote this week, so I leave you with a pic from one of Hawaii’s historic properties, the Liljestrand House. Hope you have a good one!
A few fun links from the week…
Picked up this book on our trip. I’ve only gotten a little way into it (vacationing with kids is not like vacationing before kids) but I’m hooked! (amazon affiliate, indiebound)

A 1700’s rectory turned home. Wished they shared more of the kitchen, but I’m intrigued by the bookcases, blue walls, and beautiful beds! (houseandgarden)

This week we asked 5 designer/renovator/bloggers “should I paint my wood trim?” Loved all of their perspectives!
I recently went to my first estate sale in years and was wowed at how unprepared I was. These tips for navigating an estate sale are spot on! (cupcakeandcashmere)
