Happy Friday 8/2/19

Happy Friday! This was a week for the books! We spent the majority of it in South Dakota, being tourists with the Landlady in tow. For the record, South Dakota is amazing! Not only is it beautiful, but there’s so much to do. We found prehistoric mammal fossils in the Badlands NP (check for our kids picture in the paleontology lab if you visit!), took a turn through Mount Rushmore, celebrated Daphne’s second birthday in Brookings, made s’mores on the bank of the Missouri River, and almost got rained out by a midnight Black Hills thunder storm (thank goodness for the Landlady!). What a week!
