Happy Friday 3/7/25
Happy Friday! Any fun weekend plans? I’m going to meet up with girlfriends for our small town’s first Friday art walk. We’re still a couple months away from warm weather, but that just makes an evening stroll downtown all the more rewarding ;) Wishing you a lovely weekend!

THIS open dutch door moment from W Design Collective (shown above)!! The whole project is stunning! Taking in all the beautiful details as inspiration for the Hill House and dreaming of the warmer weather ahead.
7 things you should always preserve or try to save in an old home, according to designers. Do you agree? This might be controversial but I’ve changed my tune on clawfoot cast iron tubs - we’ll only keep them if they’re a stand alone bath (and not a shower).
Celebrated a birthday this week and my twin sister and I exchanged ‘favorite things’ gifts. Apparently 43 is the year of skincare because I gave her these face masks (I do them weekly - they’re amazing!) and she gave me these delicious collagen chews (should we call them after-lunch candies?!) and this luminous under-eye concealer.
Love this house-hunters-esque New York Times series. House #1 is the only answer, right?!!!
This week we shared our DIY unlaquered brass gallery rail project at the Poplar Cottage. It’s one of my favorite quick DIYs we’ve done in a long time!
File this away under breakfasts the whole family will love: Ina’s banana crunch muffins. Bonus if you make them in adorable parchment liners for a bakery vibe :)
Wow! Now this is a library (even if the books turned backwards drives me nuts ;).
This is a fun idea: create your own home logos. This seller on Etsy makes some really cute ones.
Have you watched Meghan Markle’s new special on Netflix (here’s the trailer). It’s gotten mixed reviews, but I’ve gotta say, it looks kinda fun!
Have a good one!
