Happy Friday 3/6/20

Happy Friday! How are you doing? My twin sis and I turned 38 this week. Eek! It really snuck up on us. Do we call it middle age? Late 30’s? Garrett gave me a working pantry sink for my birthday, which is exactly what I was hoping for :)

Oh the pantry…I’m a little smitten with it! And quite frankly a little surprised by how smoothly it’s coming together (knock on wood that doesn’t change!). It’s so close to done that I got to bake this well-loved lemon cake on the baking counter this week. I brought the cake to Nana’s for a joint birthday celebration and she made this dinner skillet (which I have to mention because it’s bonkers amazing)!

This made me smile this morning and then I had to read it out loud to Garrett (and explain what Elizabeth Gilbert wrote and how Julia Roberts factors in…)! (instagram)
