Happy Friday 5/31/24
Happy Friday! Any exciting weekend plans? We’re picking up a vintage dresser from FBMP over in Seattle today and then doing all the city things. Mostly that means a run around the lake, a visit to our Dexter house, Costco, friends, and eating all the good food we can find. Wishing you a lovely weekend.

Some fun links from the week…
Gah! I love this home by Bryan Graybill so much (shown above)! I’ve been digging into all the details as inspiration for our new home.
Want to raise more successful (and happier) kids? Harvard research says give them more chores. (Telling my kids this on repeat!)
This week we installed the last 2 pieces of cedar shake siding on the front of the Poplar Cottage and it sure felt good. Of course we still have 3 more sides of the house to finish siding on, but so pleased with how it’s turning out.
Is this the most charming home ever?!
Your kids’ teachers really want handwritten notes and gift cards as end of the year gifts. Or if you set on a physical gift, here are some thoughtful ideas.
Our family has been working through the Ant-Man movies and they’re so fun (plus, Paul Rudd!). It’s so hard to find movies that our whole family enjoys (ages 6-42) and these nail it. Here’s a preview of the first one.
Here for this: a sporty design era.
Also sporty: my cute new running shorts. I’m thinking about singing up for a marathon in the fall (eek!).
Currently on my nightstand. Have you read it yet?!
Hope you have a good one!
