Happy Friday 6/28/19
Happy Friday! Are you enjoying these long summer days as much as me?
We took some time off from our kitchen renovation this week to go camping with the kids on the Washington Coast. We walked the beach, explored the tide pools, hiked in the Hoh Rainforest, and ate our weight in s’mores. A good time was had by all! But after a couple nights of sleeping on the ground, we were all happy to see our beds again. We really need to find ourselves a little camp trailer 🤪

A few interesting things from the week…
This tiny kitchen renovation turned out sooo good! It was a collaboration between 2 of my online favorites: Joanna of Jojotastic (the home owner) and Sarah of Room For Tuesday (the designer). And it proves that a tiny home doesn’t have to mean less. (Jojotastic)
Six Money Habits to quit if you want to get serious about Saving. This is so very worth a read! (Wit and Delight)
Want to raise successful kids? Science says to do these 5 things every day. How hard could it be, right?! 😜 But really, I loved this article and sent it to Garrett before I even finished it. (Inc.com)
Our Garden was recently on Emily Henderson along with tons of other great outdoor DIYS. Check it out here! (Emily Henderson)
“A home is like a sculpture. We struggled, suffered, swore, and loved our way through it.” Artist Greg Hyde’s home is so much more than just a house and it’s really lovely. (Homes To Love)
Our Money is only as valuable as what we choose to spend it on. Food for thought. (Becoming Minimalist)
Do you need a new DIY blog to follow? I Spy DIY is one of my very favorites. She’s also a landlord (landlady?) and her and her husband do the most inspiring budget-friendly, old-house renovations (check out her recent Barnhouse loft renovation and mudroom renovation)! She’s amazing. (I Spy DIY)
Have a great weekend!
