Happy Friday 11/8/24

Happy Friday! What a week. Between a sick child, the election, and wind gusts strong enough to elicit warnings on my phone, we didn’t get a ton done on the Poplar Cottage siding. But stormy weather always gives way to better weather…eventually. So I have high hopes for next week :) Wishing you a lovely weekend.

How to deal with disappointment.

This pantry peekaboo stopped me mid-scroll this week (shown above).

Need a warm and cozy dinner idea? Try this white bean, kale soup. Nana made it this week with the addition of sausage and oh my, what a treat! It felt like a warm hug.

Added these slippers to my wishlist. Cold feet just make cold weather less fun.

This 17th century home is tucked inside a walled garden! WOW! I’m swooning over the dining area, beautiful shades of pink, and the greenhouse!

This week we shared the new roman shades at the Poplar Cottage, plus a guide for measuring and ordering your own. This renovation project is starting to feel like a home :)

Greater Copenhagen region makes relocation low-risk with the world’s first ‘life quality insurance’.

A pick-me-up in the form of the NYC Marathon!

Listened to this beautiful book this week (read by the author!). What a special read, full of hope and the most delicious writing!

Have a good one!
