Happy Friday 9/1/23
Happy Friday! And happy Labor Day weekend! This is our small town’s big rodeo weekend and we have 20 of our favorite people coming to stay with us at the Farmhouse and partake in the festivities. There will be carnival rides, cowboy boots, late night dancing, catching up over hikes, and plenty of parade candy…best weekend all year long! Wishing you an exciting weekend.

Just finished this beautiful book - it’s hilarious and tender. Fair warning, it’s long and I almost gave up mid-way but I’m so glad I didn’t because the end is the best part. (amazon, indiebound)
Watch any good scary movies lately? Every Labor Day weekend we have a scary movie night with friends and we’re still looking for one for Sunday night. Honestly I’m a bit of a wuss and only make it through about 1/4 of the scary movies we pick, but I do try ;) psst: this is my favorite one that we’ve ever watched!
