Happy Friday 9/18/20
Happy Friday! How was your week? Our Farmhouse was covered in a blanket of smoke this week (from the wildfires), so we’ve been staying inside. The kids are basically bouncing off the walls at this point. But we’re safe and making obstacle courses around the house and digging into distance learning and eating lots of tomatoes and feeling pretty thankful.

More from the week…
Loved this tour: An antiques-filled apartment in London. (tat-london)
A reading sweater? Yup, I’m in! (cupofjo)
An oldie but a goodie: What parents can learn from a small town that produced 11 Olympians. My sister and I reference this article in conversation at least once a month. (nytimes)
Fall foliage predictor. (@smokeymountains.com)
Currently loving this palette. (@biablooms)
Hahaha (@cheapoldhouses)
Growing a cut flower garden. This might just be the prettiest post we’ve ever published.
I dig this moody kitchen! I’m not entirely sure I could live in such a dark space, but I love it all the same. Could you? (remodelista)
For you omnivores, Nana made us these skillet meatballs with peaches this week and holy moly, they’re so good. She served them over sourdough and I can’t recommend enough! (nycooking)
There won’t be a clear end to the pandemic. Ugh. (theatlantic)
We were feeling extra cooped up this week with smoke keeping us indoors and I loved watching this short video of our West Coast road trip. Looking forward to more of this in the future!
This week’s read was emotional and moving and wornderfully-written. I’ll be thinking about ‘This is How It Always Is’ for a long time! (amazon affiliate, indiebound)
Have a good weekend!
