Happy Friday 7/10/20
Happy Friday! How are you? Goodness I sure hope you’re safe and wearing your mask and taking what you can from this time.
It’s berry season around here and we’ve been filling our hutch with jam for winter and filling our bellies with raspberries. We’ve made raspberry ice cream, raspberry smoothies, raspberry sauce, raspberry parfaits, raspberry galettes…well you get the idea. Summer is such a magical time out here in the country and we’re trying not to waste a bit of it.

More from the week…
Galettes might just be my favorite low-maintenance dessert. They’re easy, don’t require much (any?) planning, and look great even when they don’t look great 😉 (cupofjo)
Want to move to the country? 15 things to consider. This week’s book recommendation is the Underground Railroad. It’s the haunting tale of an enslaved women who escapes the plantation she was born on and journeys on the underground railroad. This is one of those books that I know I won’t forget anytime soon. (amazon affiliate, indiebound)
Have a great weekend!
